Thank you for using ACEA's software through Credo ("the Service" or "Credo"). Credo is published and owned by the Advanced Continuing Education Association ("ACEA", "Us", or "We"), located at 71 Commercial St #44, Boston, MA 02109.
Using Credo means you ("You" or the "Client") comply with the terms set forth in this document. Please read each section carefully to understand each party's rights and limitations.
Credo requires an account to be accessible. By creating an account, you agree to provide accurate information, including but not limited to your name, address, and email address. You also confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, are of sound mind, and intend to use this platform for the purpose of managing accreditation processes, continuing education compliance, or related organizational activities.
You understand that all information, data, text, photographs, graphics, messages, or other materials ("Content"), whether publicly posted or privately transmitted, are the sole responsibility of the person from whom such Content originated.
This means that you, and not ACEA, are entirely responsible for all Content that you enter, upload, email, link, transmit, or otherwise make accessible via any medium. ACEA does not control the Content posted via the Service and, as such, does not guarantee the accuracy, integrity, or quality of such Content.
You agree to use Credo in good faith and NOT:
Failure to meet any of the above criteria, among other illicit activities, is grounds for suspension and subsequent termination of your account, apart from any legal action we may undertake against you.
Unless otherwise specified, promotions are strictly for promotional purposes, and we may cancel or modify terms and/or rescind validity at any given point without prior notice. You also agree to receive occasional email communications from us, with subscription settings enabled by default. Should you wish to opt out, simply follow the unsubscribe instructions in the email footer.
Our Privacy Policy details how ACEA handles user-submitted and meta information. By signing up for an account and using our services, you agree to grant us rights to such information as described in that policy.
You will indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ACEA, its affiliates, officers, employees, and representatives, as well as other users of our services (the "Shielded Entities"), against all liability, claims, costs, damages, settlements, and expenses (including interest, penalties, attorney fees, and expert witness fees) incurred by any Shielded Entity in any way arising out of or relating to these Terms, your use of Credo and our Services, and your User Content. We reserve the right to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification by you, at your expense. You agree to cooperate with our defense of such claims.
We provide Credo "as is" and "as available," free from warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory. We disclaim any implied warranties, including warranties of title, merchantability, performance, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Credo may contain links to third-party websites, apps, and other online properties that are not owned or controlled by us. We do not endorse or assume any responsibility for any such third-party properties. If you access a third-party website, app, or other property, you do so at your own risk and agree that ACEA will have no liability arising from your use of any such properties.
You agree to let us contact you using the email and phone information you provide. By default, you are subscribed to various types of emails (ranging from major announcements to minor changes made to your account). You are given the freedom to toggle on/off various email settings.
We comply with all applicable laws and regulations on sending emails, including the CAN-SPAM Act.
